In Loving Memory of Marcia Donley
Marcia Donley, the founder of Spay Arkansas, tragically passed away in a car accident on Aug. 15, 2025. Marcia had a vision to establish a spay-neuter clinic, and since 2011, her dream has transformed into a reality where we've performed over 80,000 surgeries—an achievement that would not have been possible without her courageous leap of faith. She also opened a cat clinic in Prairie Grove. Marcia had a genuine love for all animals, with a special fondness for cats, particularly orange ones.
We've been touched by the number of people who have reached out wanting to contribute in memory of Marcia. In the past, when she would receive donations at Spay Arkansas from her friends, she always told us to use those funds to support stray and feral cats. To honor her wishes, we've established a fund dedicated to that cause.
Along with founding Spay Arkansas, Marcia was passionate about the NWA Community Cat Project. It’s a fantastic organization that she also established to assist even more cats.

Marcia had a deep love for animals, and any organization that supports them in her name will carry on her legacy.
